These hydraulic clutches rely on non-contact engagement to almost eliminate wear and tear by compressing oil forming a bond between the clutch plates. This test station fully functionally tests engagement/disengagement, lockup, and hysteresis.
- Computer based control and data acquisition system Can accommodate wet clutch types
- 75 HP VFD controlled input drive motor for engine simulation
- 75 HP VFD controlled output drive motor for transmission simulation
- Automatic mating and connections by means of clamping and positioning servo slides.
- Full HPU with oil conditioning
- Variable speed AC drive/load (regenerative capability available)
- Torque and/or RPM measurements
- Bar code or RF tag input
- Automatic fill and/or drain of hydraulic oil
- Flexible fixturing to accommodate multiple models
